I had issues with McCain but, if you compare him to what passes for republicunts today, he was head and shoulders above any of them.
Minn, I love your doggedness in fighting the right wing. Just keep in mind my mom more often than not voted for that party. I cant for the life of me understand it. But trust me, McCain like my mother when push came to shove, would not pull a Trump.

I give religion a very hard time as everyone knows. But not in the context that all 7 billion majority are bad. Logic is one thing, but humanity is still all we have.
If humanity wishes to extend or finite ride, the fight should not be about differences, but problem solving. Not rich vs poor, or race or religion, but survival. It is unfortunate that greed has a tendency to use tribalism to keep power. The greedy do not understand that the home they live on is as finite as those they vilify.
