Many of theme are superstitions but are useful.
also many things we think are superstitions but they not.
Something is not proven, exist or not. for example Soul:
Ateist:
"You can not make a machine that show soul."
answer:
"Human is a machine and find soul."
ateist:
"I am a machine but do not find soul."
answer:
"You are a machine that not perfect. like a person that has not eye."
That's not removal (take away) of a superstition, that is a justification for one.
And humans don't find souls, they make them up. Having a soul =/= perfection.
Perfection is often subjective.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
