I tend to agree with those who are against this type of thing all together. Citing, that they have payed for their crime, and that it is often not a penalty for the person who committed the crime anyway. Agree or disagree, if you think it should be expanded to other types of crimes or removed all together, then make your case. I just think that making this about racism is ridiculous.
It's more than skimming money off of books. Conning people out of their life savings (especially the old and infirmed) can be more devastating than an armed robbery.
