His comment on enforced monogamy was taken WAY out of context. He was talking about social norms in a society that pushes people to stay monogamous. This is the current state in most developed countries. The norm is to be monogamous. That's all he was saying. I can give you the direct quote from Joe Rogan Podcast if you're not convinced.
As far as being bigoted against homosexuals/trans people I'm not so sure about that. I've never heard him say anything degrading about either. In fact he has been quoted as saying he's happy to call trans people by their preferred pronouns he just doesn't believe there should be laws forcing us to do so, a sentiment I whole-heartedly agree with.
I do think he can be quite dodgy when it comes to religion/god.
Beyond that I've never found anything Peterson has said to be all that detestable. Uninteresting maybe. But the hate he gets? I really don't get it.
