They didn't teach me world history in Saudi Arabia. They used to teach Islamic history then a very very lousy year of teaching the history of the Saud family.
Yes; the Middle East is so full of shitholes ruled by dictators, and the only way to survive and live "a normal life" is to look forward for escaping into the real world. Remember: being a shithole region is what keeps me fueled up to talk against the establishment here. The Middle East is the bottom of the barrel in this age, look at Syria for God's sake.
