Part of my concern was for the dogs...there were a lot of babies in that egg sack and the dogs are often around the pool...so, yeah, momma and babies had to go.
Other spiders I find outside are allowed to live...if they come inside though...all bets are off. Well, sometimes those creepy spiders that carry all their babies on their backs have to die...they are just too creepy for words. *shudder*
