I agree with you about the labeling of stuff as a mob. Thats just a sloppy attempt to delegitimize people. But you go off the rails when you start labeling things as peaceful that aren't or denying left wing violence. That is an equal misrepresention as calling everything a mob.

The counter protestors at Charlottesville weren't peaceful. How did the Nazis there get maced in the face? With peace spray? (Whether or not they should be peaceful is another discussion)

I really am not against a little violence in protests anyway. I'm pro-punching Nazis from time to time.

Calling every rowdy protest a mob makes no sense to me. A protest isn't supposed to be this sterile boring thing anyway. It's a fucking protest.
