The Right, embracing the rhetoric of victimhood, is as predictable as a sunrise. The GOP and their donors are like the dog who finally caught the car. For once, they have managed to deliver on things they've used for decades to lure working class cultural conservatives into their fold at election time. Without a narrative of victimhood and an ongoing bunker mentality on cultural issues, they are in real danger of people not showing up at the polls this time around.
That they seek to cast legitimate, peaceful (if outraged) protestors as angry, dangerous mobs is as disgusting as it is unsurprising.
That Alpha buys into that nonsense is also as disgusting as it is unsurprising.
