They try to stop facism.  They do so violently, because the liberal response (again..your silly ass is included in this use of the term) to facism has historically failed at every turn.  It is this fundamental rejection of a shared political framework of liberalism between you and the dems that makes them an illiberal out-group with reference to the three of you.
