I am going to try to skip audible right now till I purge a few other subscription things...I should really let Netflix go again as I seldom watch anything. And I almost never listen to Pandora any more either.
To start my audio book adventures I went with David Sedaris...some of his books I had read and some I hadn't. I enjoyed some of them but returned a couple others pretty quickly. I finished Sharp Objects last night. I have the book but had never read it. It was different but kept me interested so I may also go for Gone Girl though I have read the book.
I like humorists and memoirs. Unfortunately the ones I have looked for aren't available to me. I will take the suggestion to see where else I can get a card and access.
Thank you!
Onviously, I read a lot of sci-fi and fantasy, but your mention of memoirs reminds me that I have "Angela's Ashes" languishing deep in the bowels of my 'to read' list. I need to get after thay one. If you've not read it, it's available from the aforementioned Overdrive.
