But let's break this down shall we 

Education and regular exposure to different ideas/cultures/races is the only way to fight ignorance. Of course, if the fight becomes physical/violent, you fight back, but you're never right if you start it.

Something group like the proud boys would clearly hate and oppose because their ideology is anti intellectual and anti multicultural . 

It is if the people your fighting hate all those things .

Violence is justified because that strategy won't  work because their ideology rejects such concepts and put my comment in the context of the thread where were talking about violent groups and the "people your fighting " as in the anti intellectual anti multicultural violent  hate groups becomes clear .
