It never meant to last. Life is a mere short period that we show our worth in it, it always suppose to be like this.
Really; when was the situation truly "better"? If I go to medival times, I'll get the Black Death or a longsword to the jaw. If I go to the stone age, I'll probably get chopped by the wildlife. If I go to the times of the Romans, probably I'll be a slave.
It's always the same, always there are the "royalty"; the "common people"; the "poor"; the tortured like "Jamal Kashoggi; ...
The day of eternal life is coming, it's after we die. But let's prove our worth in this one: it doesn't mean to wait or to let go. The moment of death, everybody is equally helpless, nothing remains but deeds. Then we'll see God.
