THE ISSUE behind not getting a grip on gun violence is the same goddamned fucking reason we have not gotten off of fossil fuels yet, the same fucking reason it took forever for car companies to adapt seat belts and air bags. The factories who make these objects DO NOT WANT TO LOSE PROFIT. It has never been about rights, but MONEY. It is the same fucking scare tactics big tobacco used to hide the dangers of their products.

Saying we need to keep them out of the wrong hands IS NOT A GUN GRAB.
Just like saying keeping porn out of children's hands and alcohol out of the hands of those under 18 is not a denial of rights.
