Actually the universe could easily be "fair' from many perspectives, without the nonsense of belief. 

There is no way a 6 year old, dying of cancer can see anything fair, in any direction, about the universe AND your gods are of no help. 
You live in a "happy bubble". Time to get out more.

A six year old dying of cancer could be here to teach important lessons of compassion, kindness and empathy. And there is no real death when you believe in eternal life.

Your pretense that there is no death is utter poppycock. If someone doesn't believe in gravity, they still fall to their death. 
You have not one shred of evidence that belief (denial of death) precludes death. 
Differentiating between reality and fantasy is a stage in normal child development.
