Sounds like an equally problematic situation for "skeptics."
1. If Jesus did exist at any point in history, then you end up being wrong.
2. If Jesus didn't exist, you've wasted much of your over quarreling about someone who never existed.
I don't think bigfoot, the lochness monster, or space aliens exist, but the day I swear up and down that they don't, someone is going to show up on my doorstep with a real photo of E.T. in a boat with Bigfoot, in a swamp partying with the Lochness Monster.
If you feel you have a legit argument, there's still no way to confirm that someone "didn't exist" at some point in history.
