I'm a chemist and I work in a research center. I'm a chill and loner individual and I like to explore, study and learn (I was the annoying kid tempesting the teacher with questions).
I decided to join this forum since it looked quite active. I share many views with atheists but I'm more precisely an agnostic, as I leave myself open to every possibility (even the possibity there is a god) as I don't know for certain.
I have a very nihilistic view of life. I don't think anything really matters in this world. We just are, and that's it. So I live my life by maximizing the time spent doing things I somewhat enjoy while trying to not interfere with others (since it's often counterproductive). I live according to two mottos which are:
"Don't do to others what you don't want be done to you"
"Assume nothing, question everything"
Someone once defined me as a happiness economist.
