There are stories about all sorts of things....you don't believe everything any rando says, do you? 
Deep down...you see...I fear that if there ever is some post mortem reckoning, it won't be on account of my not goose stepping to some magic book that I get denied entry to valhalla, or that I didn't die with my blade in hand (though I absolutely will...count on it! - imma get buried on my own land, gun in fucking mitts....)...but that I turned out a hungry traveler.
