It was for stress management. Being in a small town there are no support groups other than AA or NA. But after a month I started to dislike it but kept going because my wife found it useful for her depression but I'm slowly withdrawing from it because of my changing beliefs and the cult like behavior that's showing in Celebrate Recovery. If I need more help for stress, I might do SMART recovery because they provide online groups.
Thanks for the response. I've got addiction issues myself and do/have done AA(12 step) and Smart Recovery also. Never did like the online stuff, guess I needed face time but my city is big enough to have groups everywhere.
