Alot of people assume that some counterfactual thing is necessary for their worldview to be true. Consider his earlier proclamation that if what he's said is not a fact, then there are no facts.
This mistaken assumption leads to extremely specific denials.
For him, for example....common ancestry is "untrue"..but only because he thinks that this would make his religion false. He likely doesn't think that paternity tests are "untrue" - and doesn't realize that the truth of a paternity test and the truth of common ancestry rest on the same facts and methodologies. So he denies one specific aspect of a broader fact he actually accepts, even.
It's not a categorical rejection....it's a surgical one, lol. That's what makes it so funny. If he was just like "fuck biology, whadda they know" that would be one thing. I bet he even knows why he's wrong, even though he certainly doesn't think it makes him wrong.
