Because the translations and interpretations seem to vary, and I'm wondering how many women are involved in deciding how far you can beat your woman.
God is not a woman or a man. He is God.
There are tons of female religious scholars in the history of Islam; it's not the fault of Islam that the world is sexist.
But to clear Islam's position on women; this verse from the Quran is enough:
Quote:Surah 66, The Quran:
https://quran.com/66/12?translations=20
Dr. Ghali
(11) And Allah has struck a similitude for the ones who have believed: the wife of Firaawn (Pharaoh) as she said, "Lord! Build for me a house in your Providence in the Garden, and safely deliver me from Firaawn and his deed (s), and safely deliver me from the unjust people!
(12) And Maryam (Mary) daughter of Imran, who kept safe her private parts, (i.e., safeguarded) so We breathed in it of Our Spirit, and she sincerely (believed) in the Words of her Lord, and His Books; and she was one of the devout.
The example I should be following -and aim for- as these verses state as a believer, is an example of 2 women.
2 women.
Also; I advise you to read the OP because I did say exactly what the argument you make is:
Quote:AtlasS33 said (in the OP):
There is a strong wing that uses women's misery across history to turn females into wax dolls; making $$ out of their bodies from porn industries to feminism. Fooling the masses by nude parades, while Nicola and Bart get executed for being anarchists.
Let's rise to the occasion and start to look at women as peoples; not children.

نشوز -noshooz; which is the word used in the verse- doesn't mean "arrogance"; it means "rebellion". Please read the OP again; and yes; God is great.
Which God is great? Lots of claims worldwide and even prior to the monotheisms of Jews, Christians and Muslims.
