Quote:No wife. Three masculine persons make up the Godhead.
Then you do not accept the Bible.
1. No JEW ever accepts that there is a trinity.
2. Do your masculine persons have dicks and testosterone ? LOL Gender evolved as a way to reproduce. Does your silly deity reproduce ? LOL
How can there be a male god without female gods ? https://www.seeker.com/gods-wife-edited-...83399.html
3. "Between the 10th century BC and the beginning of their exile in 586 BC, polytheism was normal throughout Israel; it was only after the exile that worship of Yahweh alone became established, and possibly only as late as the time of the Maccabees (2nd century BC) that monotheism became universal among the Jews. Some biblical scholars believe that Asherah at one time was worshipped as the consort of Yahweh, the national God of Israel. There are references to the worship of numerous gods throughout Kings: Solomon builds temples to many gods and Josiah is reported as cutting down the statues of Asherah in the temple Solomon built for Yahweh (2 Kings 23:14). Josiah's grandfather Manasseh had erected one such statue (2 Kings 21:7).
The Book of Jeremiah, written circa 628 BC, possibly refers to Asherah when it uses the title "Queen of Heaven"in Jeremiah 7:16-18 and Jeremiah 44:17-19, 25.

2 Kings 21:7 New International Version (NIV)
7 He took the carved Asherah pole he had made and put it in the temple, of which the Lord had said to David and to his son Solomon, “In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my Name forever.
Too bad for you, he did have a wife, and it's a part of your scripture.
The Jews didn't recognize their Messiah when He came here.
Below is information on the Bible verse you referenced.

Also, what if common ancestry proves not to be true. It is a debated topic. Could you ever accept Christianity? If so, what would it take. Try to be serious on this one. I am curious. If it turned out common ancestry wasn't the answer. (by the way all the science shows it is, but I'll play) then we would be looking for some other mechanism. God is not the default answer. In fact god is so unlikely a thing itself thing that unless something major changes we can rule it out of being responsible for anything.
You've gained nothing from the information I provided.

EVIDENCE. You still have none. You will never have any, and even if you had such, I for one would have a problem with such an immoral thug.

I don't think he liked the idea to begin with of pushing this into public schools the way they went about it. I think he has alternative plans for education on the subject.Of course not. Meyer was not fond of getting spanked in court.
Cheers man!
I believe I provided proof, not just evidence.
I read the entire Bible cover to cover. I went to Catholic high school and had religion class for 4 years. I made my Communion and Confirmation in the Catholic church (I am now more of a protestant though). For periods of my life I attended church every week. I study the Bible and I belong to a Christian forum which I visit daily. I understand my faith.
There is nothing wrong with Dr. Meyer. I believe he disagreed with the case the entire time from my understanding.

Y'know 'Submit to the authority figures in the Church.' 'Don't question things' that kind of stuff.
Heck, even within the Odinist pagan beliefs you can be and are accepted if you're 'Gotless'.
I... may have dedicated a hall or two in my youthful days...
So not as to disctract things too much.
Not that there's any evidence for such dietys, of course.
Not at work.
On submission to authority, His point was that all governance are in place under the providence of God. So submit to the power He has in place. The wicked powers are in place due to the behaviors of the people. If people acted right we would not have an authoritarian government like we have today spying on and harassing people to name a couple things.
