I thought I saw a ghost. Twice; once when I was about 15, the other around age 25. I've thought about it over the years., deconstructing the experiences:
Each time I was in bed ,and woke from a fairly deep sleep, so my mental acuity was almost certainly compromised. What I actually saw, each time: A blob of light, which seemed roughly human shaped. I live in the city. There is almost always a light source somewhere.
Simple explanation; It was a person with a torch or perhaps a car head light. My human need for order kicked in, trying to make sense of the event. I really don't know for a fact, but am fairly confident it wasn't ghosts.
Driving on a long street with lots of intersections. I thought "I better take it easy, some idiot could come belting out of one of those streets." Immediately slowed down to about 30 kph. Seconds later ,a car did indeed come speeding out in front of me. Scared the hell out of me. (the scare is important)
This is a bit more interesting. On first glance it seems like a clear case of precognition.
Simple answer: Many people have premonitions all the time.. Almost all do not come true, but those are forgotten, only the very rare' hit' is remembered., especially if it was a bit dramatic. Not paranormal, just normal human psychology.
