What I find amusing is that those things which inform us of mitochondrial eve, his misconceptions lain entirely aside, are the -same- things that inform us of common ancestry.  Blunty, mt-eve is a comment on common ancestry.

If we can't trust genetics on common ancestry, then we can't trust genetics on common ancestry....as in so many other areas, this nutball needs to make up his mind.

No, I have not been wrong.  See the definition in my post above.  This is what I thought it meant.  I read the misconceptions but that does not rule out what I said.  It does not rule out that we all descend from one woman (or one man).

See my response above. You are wrong. The individual who is currently mtEve will not be so for very long before one of the daughters inherits the title.

ETA: mtEve must have two daughters minimum. Bible Eve has none and therefore cannot be mtEve. You simply have not figured out the significance of the term "matrilineal".

I understand the term. It does not prove that man did not descend fom one man and one woman. In fact, it helps support it.

I do. Do have details on this to see if a study has been conducted to determine if human DNA was ever in a perfect state.
