But then Copernicus, unlike Behe and Meyer was correct in his hypothesis. And remember; the only group of people to mock Copernicus/Galileo were the church and that was not down to some heresy bullshit, they were running scared. Their raison d'être was at stake and they were scared shitless.

The church at that time did have in its employ a good percentage of the worlds supply of arseholes but not all of them were idiots. They knew nicely Galileo may have developed the telescope but he wasn't the only guy to look through one, he merely pointed out what was clear for all to see, Geocentrism was bollocks and with that the church's authority was nuked from Galilean orbit.

No, it is not.  The temple was destroyed in 70 AD.  These are the last days but no one knows when the end times is.  Only God knows the final time of Earth when Jesus will return.

The last days? There sure seem to be an awful lot of last days. If I were you, I wouldn't bet on anything happening any time soon. Think about all your christian antecedents who were convinced they were in the "last days" and nothing happened. Yours will be the very same experience as theirs. You will howl at the moon about the "last days" until your "last day" and you will simply die like all of your predecessors. Meanwhile, the world, the universe will just keep on going without you.

The prophecies are real.
Jesus atones for sin.  His followers took there news to the death.  Leaders of Rome and Hebrew leaders had Him killed.  He wasn't some random man claiming to be a prophet and there are always false prophets in the world.  The Scriptures warn of this.  
Jesus fulfills the OT prophecies.  
Only God knows when the end times are.
