In the sense of being without purpose in the divine sense i would agree. However humans re very good at making their own purpose. Relationships while meaningless in a divine sense aren't meaningless to me, we really don't need a god for these things.
As for evolution, so what ? believers are evolved too they just make up unsupported shit to make themselves fell better.
