Hi! I just found this forum about 5 minutes ago, and figured I might as well register.

So, to state my beliefs up front, I am a Conservative Jew. I believe that G-d created the universe 14 billion years ago. I also strongly disapprove of forcing one's beliefs on others, whatever they are. For that reason, I find I get along better with most atheists better than Christian fundamentalists. I believe that it is important to seek out differing opinions and to engage in reasoned debate. I also believe it is important to laugh as often as possible. Here's to many interesting debates and hilarious jokes!

Shalom. My father is Jewish, and despite being raised Catholic, I still have Hanukkah prayer memorized. Don't know what I'm saying, but I can pronounce it right!
