At work.
While, yes, it's a great achievement in data processing and image gathering.
The focus of that attention is pretty much nothing more than the effects of extreme gravity/mass doing it's thing.
Heck, if we could cram enough 'Stuff' inside its own Schwarzchild radius then we could create the same effect in miniature.
The youtube site 'Kurzgesagt' has some naffy details about said phenomenon.
As for some 'Hyper brain' being able to make such things.....
Why wouldn't something like that terrify you instead of giving you the warm and fluffies?
I mean, think about it, you're seemingly chuffed at the thought of some great power from beyond time and space just puttering about crushing together stuff so as to absently cause reality bending things like black holes to come into being. With the completely unsupported idea that such an entity won't do the same thing to you or your local existence.....'cause reasons?
That's like myself wanting to awaken the great Cthulhu so that I may have merciful pleasure of being devoured and annihilated first instead of being left alive such that my phsyc is shattered and sprayed to the four winds.

If my image of hell is correct; it is this. Flames on the edges, infinite void in the center
People didn't see black holes for millions of years even though they were in front of them, staring at them like the eye of Sauron. How does an atheist not put the possibility of an even bigger entity with intelligence and far more superior resources being there?
