For the people complaining that a ban on racial slurs is too constricting, here's the thing. We tried really hard not to ban certain words because sometimes, people are just discussing a word, joking amongst themselves amicably or whatever. However, the very idea that some of you couldn't say these words (and I'm not just talking about the n-word. I'm also seeing anti-Asian slurs too, probably among others) led you to go on a slur-fest that lit up our reports section and led to some members feeling attacked. It's perfectly find to have "free speech" or the ability to use unsavory language, but when you are talking about hate speech, there is a fine line, and some users, much like toddlers, are testing that line too much for us to even want to police it. There is no good argument for dropping n-bombs just because you can in an environment where multiple people have said that they are uncomfortable with it.
Christard isn't remotely close to the n-word. To my knowledge, it won't be treated as such. You can complain about it, but religion and race are not in the same ballpark.
