Well, that's the catch - these things won't appear to happen unless you already believe that they will, and it'd be silly to believe in them without out evidence.

Funny how lack of belief in things we have no reason to believe in are always used as an excuse for not seeing ghosts and for things like prayer and laws of attraction always failing.
