I'm starting to question my position on arming teachers. Since they don't really have a lot to do, maybe they could double as security guards. It isn't like they couldn't afford their own weapons and training, since we know how much teachers are vastly overpaid.
Also, it's plain that trying to teach 30 teenagers about algebra or the Treaty of Westphalia is clearly a low-stress occupation, so these unstressed, undistracted, low-key teachers are exactly who we might need in a live fire situation.
Gonna have to give this a serious rethink.
