Game of Thrones final season [spoilers]

I really don't know how you think they were in competition.  Their musical styles were not the same...not even close.

Elvis wasn't exactly the Woodstock type.

In  music style they were not . But in youth appeal they were in competition  . Which was the concern which lead to the push .

Both were just a little ahead of my time but from what I could see...there was no competition.  There were too different to be in competition.  

Apples and oranges.

Elvis was more the rage of my mom's generation.

I was 12 when Woodstock happened so I was just a couple years behind the Jimi thing but quickly caught up.

Their audiences were different because they were so different.
