Their economic model is certainly some kind of Capitalism, AFAIK, but still with central planning. I don't think China's government is the same as the Communism of Russia and definitely not the same as North Korea. I haven't paid much attention to how much of China's government is true to the Communism of Marx, IDK that much of their government.
North Korea has a monarchy in all but name something Communism opposes as a ideal communist state rejects artificial hierarchies

And in China the government controlling everything is also not Marxist as it's simply trading the capitalist boss for the government boss
