Your understanding of science at best is ever changeing meaning what you know to be fact to day is garbage tomorrow.. so then why would the inspiried book of God contain scientific garbage?
Eg Pluto was a planet and not it is not, hole in ozone caused by cfcs global warming due to co2 global cooling due to hydrocarbons, acid rain will destroy all rainforest by 2020 the oceans will all be dead by 2000..
Again this is all scientific garbage that in it's day is as true to you then as the earth was flat 600 years ago.
The bible is infact open, and can be reconciled with anything science has to say if you simply can learn to read it properly/without changing anything it says for traditional or religious explanations.
