The corrupt Saudi Arabian government doesn't represent Islam.
I put it in the muslim area because saudi arabia is a muslim country and its take on islam influenced its oppression of women.
**** sarcastic *****
what a great idea to use saudi arabia (a country that ruled by a corrupt monarchy) as the prime example of a muslim country oppressing women, even though there were other "muslim" nations who had female presidents/prime-ministers (we'll just casually ignored those nations).
***** end of sarcasm *****

I suggest you read more about the prophet and his family in relation to the Arabian monarchy /Saudi ruling family.
Once he died... the prophet's family members were all exiled and murdered. You think if the prophet was alive today...he would pledge allegiance to Saudi Arabia and the ruling family?
