Why does God get the credit?

God is the one who willed it and made it possible. Let me give you an example:

You are an engineer in the example. You built a skyscraper, you designed every inch and made sure the floors don't collapse. After that people lived in it for years and years.

If you want to be fair; they owe their safe living in the building to you, you are the first one deserving the thanks since you are the master architect that built a huge skyscraper that is safe.

Reflect the example on God. He created the whole universe according to the faith of theists. According to our faith; he so deserves the thanks.

They don't owe the engineer shit .He was paid to do a job or he loved doing it or both . But none the less no one owes him anything let alone agreeing to be his bitches for eternity. If the engineer suddenly proclaimed we should worship him because he built a building we would tell him to go fuck himself .
