Most asians are doing better than the average white person in america today.
https://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2012/06/...americans/

Then to call out south east asians.. sweet heart they may be the poorest people in the world outside south america, but unlike south american the US will simply not allow them in if they have nothing to contribute, can't speak the language or can not work a skilled job.
https://www.encyclopedia.com/history/dic...-americans
So working from your stereotype this is true that south eastern asian are poor but not if they come here.

Uh-oh! Somebunny's upset. And quite CLUELESS, it would appear.

Southeast Asians HERE in U.S. have some of the highest dropout and poverty rates in THIS country. Now, I don't say this to suggest that there's something inherently wrong with or stupid about SA's. I don't believe that all.  I'm just pointing out that it is racial stereotyping that's caused you to believe that impoverished Asians are "unheard of" the US, not reality. They are many Asians in this country who are indeed falling through the cracks that you simply don't see.

Asian Americans are falling through the cracks in data representation and social services
Asian-Americans Have the Highest Poverty Rate in NYC
The Gap Between Rich and Poor is Highest Among Asian Americans

Huh  where did I say there where no poor asians?

Going to look at the first source as we are speaking on a nation wide scale. poor asians in one city means nothing if that city is also included in the national numbers. it simply means there are more people in that city than there are jobs. most asians who come to a city like nyc do so because they can live in an area of down where english is not the primary form of communication. basically the can move without learning the language and culture. and as thing destabilize more people will want to move flooding a given city's job market. so again if you want to compare I'm sure atlanta's or maybe detroit's poverty level with black people will far exceed the asian poverty level in nyc.

the 3 source is also meaningless because the pay gap between different members of the same community is a socialist/communist talking point and has no bearing on a free market society. It seems to me you just googled this topic and took the first three sources you found!

How ever we can discuss the last link as it is actually filled with data that has anything to do with this discussion.
Asians are 6% of the population according to your first article and of that 6%, 12% are impoverished. Now mind you that 6% is not just people from the southeast asia.. no that number is less than 1%. the 6% includes all asian americans people from hawaii AND all native americans. That basically repersents everyone not black white or hispanic. So out of those 12 or so soceities (meaning people who speak different langages and people who have totally different cultures all lumped together make up 6% of the US population roughly 20 million people.. now out of this racist grab bag (because you are saying we do not count as indivisual races or soceities) that means 2,000,000 people are considered below the poverty line.

That douche bag in a country of 330+ million or 330,000,000 is not a lot. that is far less than 1%

Now you want to compare numbers?
compare that 14% of the people self identify as black or african american. That alone is 42 million people. this does not include black speaking hispanic who do not consider themselves "one of you." nor anyone else who do not see themselves as 'black americans.'

Now how many of them are in poverty?
25%
Tut Tut

that is alot. that like 10.5 million people who can not provide for themselves. 10.5 million who where almost certainly all born here, who speak the language who has the government bent over backwards by having quotas that must be fill despite someone that maybe better qualified, government assistance programs where you almost have to be black, black only loans, black only scholarships. for black people to go to school buy homes and start up businesses.

Did you know I qualified for one of those grants. the government wanted to give me 15,000 in federal seed money to start a minority run business? I was tld they look for black people first, but did not have any one that applied that qualified. (showed up). I declined that and 10 years prior declined a schoarship designed for minorities only. wound up going to trade school instead of collage for that bit-o-pride.

My point is ALL Asians, hawaians, native americans, eskimos all together do not represent 1/2 of the black people in this country which btw has a poverty level 10 times smaller than black people who have only 2 times the numbers.

All asians (non hispanic, non white or blacks) in america= 20,000,000
All black people (but only those who claim to be black)= 42,000,000

Poor asians= 2,000,000
poor blacks=10,500,000

Again not to beat a dead horse but how many of those asians are fresh off the boat how many speak the language how many have the same accessiblity to federal assistance black people do? and yet 80% more black people can't work their way out of poverity?

You should be asking yourself why. what is the fundamental difference between all hawaiians american indians eskimos and everyone from asian living in america verse black people who have advantages most 1 time asians dont???

again back to the OP. It is family. family is the key to all of free society.
