As you so hypocritical pointed out just one post ago blacks are not the only people who are poor. when public housing was first made available it was to the standard of 1950s 1960 family who could afford a home or duplex the sqare footage in the home as well as having modern conveniences to the 1950 and 1960 where shared I know because I worked about 15 years in the projects in and around orlando and most of those project built back then are still in use. No one back then felt like they where down sized into public housing most came from shot gun single room shack with no running water and not electricity. people used still used out houses back then! My dad and his family themselves lived in an old abandon school bus set on the ground with a dirt floor they would have been happy to live in a public housing project, but where the wrong color.
So no, the VAST majority where not forced into anything. they willingly left their shite holes for modern living.

I was informing you that you were oversimplify the issue of poverty among Black Americans by dismissing that they've been singled out for oppression and discrimination by the government from the moment the first Africans were brought to the colonies and for centuries afterwards.

again before you loose yourself to emotion my point is this: at some point in history persecution real persecution (cross burning, hanging whippings segregation, the real shite they keeps a people down stoped.) and has done a long long time ago. what you endure now is of your own making. it is the same level of resistance that any other race endures and succeeds at. again asian, middle eastern, hindi/real indians, american indians, ALL have faced opposition all extremely successful people working in the highest paying jobs in this country/world. So do some black people but the ration is disproportionate considering the numbers. Again skin color aside and brain capacity all being the same (because anyone who uses race as a crutch as to why they can not ABC is BS) the only primary difference between most black people any all others who repeatedly produce successful members of society, is family, structure, and community. What proves this is successful black people often grow up in a traditional family and OR have one of their own/ they learned the value of family and used it to better their situation and themselves.

Why would you argue there is no need for black people to have traditional families? again this is not a race thing. it is a communal thing. in order for one to be sucessful in a community they must be able to commune with blood.

I already told that I'm not arguing against marriage per se. I arguing against dependency; Whether it's a matter of being depending on government check, baby daddies child support, on the family courts to enforce, or a spouse is the sole or primary breadwinner. I recommend that women to delay motherhood until they are self-sufficient enough to provide for themselves and their offspring if it were necessary.

US divorce rates are too high for me to believe that marriage, especially "traditional' marriages where women are discouraged from seeking employment and building/maintaining skills, offers the best protection against poverty. Yes, traditional marriage is one way for women and children to avoid poverty. However, it also proves to be a poverty-TRAP if things don't go according to specs. 

Women being able to write their own tickets offers the BEST protection against poverty,  so that's what I advocate for above all other solutions.

Yes, there is dysfunction within the Black community, but it is undeniable that the US government has indeed made countless, concerted efforts to prevent Black Americans from advancing n this country. Don't tell me "No" because I've provided several examples of how the US enacted policies that were explicitly designed to dick Black veterans and "good" Black families out of any reasonable shot at achieving the American Dream and cripple Blacks socially and economically for generations to come.
