My boss has a friend who did the just about the same thing as far as the shooting is concerned. But he will never be mentally or physically capable of trying another method.

Since I didn’t have access to firearms (though I did and still do have access to many sharp objects), I took an overdose of sleeping pills.
Long story short, I obviously survived thanks (?) to the intervention of a friend.
If I had access to a firearm I would have bee far more likely to succeed, or caused myself serious damage if I hadn’t.
