Nope. You can't make the world safer by taking away a few guns. You can make it somewhat safer by locking people up.

Imho it becomes more and more apparent that you are desperately trying to adress the problem of gun violence by not adressing guns and their availiability at all. Of course i agree with (cant remember who it was) the poster who claimed that the problem of violence in general needs to be adressed in the american society.
