I suppose that if I were trying to convince a Vestal Virgin that she was wasting her life and that she should run off with me to Smyrna, arguments in Latin might be a wise idea. Other than that, I can't think of any reason to write ANYTHING in a language I don't speak. Moreover, I don't see the point in writing arguments for atheism in a language that I speak but that my audience doesn't.
