But in my and many others' foiks' estimation, there was a fair amount of ridiculously stupid tapdancing involved in his grieving that is indeed, worthy of discussion. And it has given folks who are a part of those conversations reason to question why certain Black folks accept that they should put vile racists' needs to be stroked, consoled and forgiven above giving voice to their own justified outrage. So no, my and others' criticism hasn't been futile, actually. It's been quite useful in compelling folk's to examine the idiotic bullshit idoctrination that suggests that it's somehow virtuous to forgive motherfuckers who would see fit to show a fucking dog more compassion, consideration and mercy than they would a black human being, and reminding folk's that this is the very shit was beaten into out ancestors long ago with the express purpose of weakening their resolve to fight against their oppression.
Botham Jean is dead because of that Guyger's racial bias and his brother and that judge are Grade A fools if he they think that forgiving that racist twat and wiping her tears away in the name of Jesus is going to make that go away.
"Oh, you jes hush now, Miss Anne. We forgives you. Yes Lawd...Jes like Jesus says we should. He's gon wash us all white as snow and it's all gon be okay."
Lol...No, it's not.
Nothing about this shit is okay.
The problem is that there are a number of misguided Black folks who believe that this sort of "noble" act humanizes Black people in racist motherfucker's eyes when all absolving them of their horrendous fuckshit really does is reinforce the White supremacist notion that White folks need to be "comforted" and given reassurance that they're good people is more important than Black people lives. I feel for Jean's brother; i really do. But I will not commend his message (intended or not) of: Do whatever the fuck you want us. This life's just passing..Heaven is for always.
I am NOT on board with that. And have no problems saying that to any Black person and telling them why.
It is damaging as fuck.
Colonized minds need decolonizing and I aim to help where I can.
Now you and I walk different paths in life so that I'm not surprised aren't able to relate to/understand my issue with the brother's and judge's antics, and that's fine. But what played out in that courtroom is a garbage narrative that too many of us have been lapping for way too long, and I for one, will continue to call it out as such with the intent on compelling some of my people to open their fucking eyes and remember just who and what it is they're dealing with when it comes to these racist motherfuckers.
And I'm not going to dismissed or badgered into silence about it just because you find it "silly" and "inappropriate".
That's all there is to it. You can continue quoting me and painting me out to be some out-of-control angry black woman all you want...Lol
Idgaf.
Oh wow. No deep-seated issues here.
And here you are, doing the real noble work; educating some ignorant white boy on the internet, huh?
You're a joke.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.
