No need to waste perfectly good tomatoes, fellas--I'll show myself out.
Yeah, I can relate to that. Pharmacy package inserts--Gotta unfold and read the entire thing.
And the print is so goddamned small.
When it comes to books though...I'd say I'm generally willing to give a title several chapters to grab me if I think the book may hold promise. When reading for pleasure, a third of the way in is about as far as I'll go before I'll put it down and move on to something else. I'll often do the same with films--though I probably give them closer to the halfway mark.
The way I figure it, I wouldn't keep eating food that I discovered to be bad just because I started it.
I see no good reason to do that when it comes to books and movies either...lol
