You may think what you are doing is a good deed and not evil at all. You base your morals relative to society's standards for morals.
I posted before how if you go back in time, in ancient Rome. You'll see that the general public thought it was okay and entertaining to murder non-Romans in the coliseum. You tell them that it is wrong to kill like this.... they'll just reply, why is it wrong? Says who? How would you reply to them in that situation?
