You'll see that the general public thought it was okay and entertaining to murder non-Romans in the coliseum. You tell them that it is wrong to kill like this.... they'll just reply, why is it wrong? There is no god to "get close to" This deity's wisdom has been proven to be false. You are not doing very well in the "Making peace with everyone" department Learn about your environment...it will show you how useless your deity is. You will never find all your "weaknesses" because your belief system will get in the way. You will never be able to "protect others from evil" because you are unable to "protect yourself from evil"... Your belief system is backward looking and so like eviL.
