Friends- British accent

In Arabia; I always ran into teachers/people who speak a very stupid accent and claim it's British..since British is "classy" and "evidence of big brains"..

English isn't a Latin language.  It's got some Latin influence, but it has nothing to do with the Romance Languages and you're an idiot.
