Btw in the sequel they think that they're Mohammed and they have sex with little girls, as well as have sex with their aunt's corpse.
But it isn't (or at least, doesn't appear to be) a film about religious people. It's a film about three different people with the same delusion - that they are Jesus - and the doctor who treats them. I could be mistaken, but I don't recall a single poster here ever saying that they were Jesus.
