RIP Sue Lyon, mostly known as Lolita -- she was directed by Stanley Kubrick, John Huston, and John Ford in her first three movies, all before her 21st birthday. She was in that Huston movie "Night Of Iguana" which was kind of apologist movie for catholic priests sexual harassment because in the movie the priest, played by Richard Burton, is constantly being pursued by women and an underaged horny girl, and then older women get angry at him for not boinking them so they falsely accuse him of seducing a minor.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
