In all seriousness, until self driving vehicles become a daily reality, it is never good to take your eyes off the road. It is certainly true humans have learned to multitask while driving. But as I said before in a prior post, it doesn't matter what takes your eyes off the road. Reaching for your cigarettes, wallet, coins, or food, anything can become a distraction. The more you try to do while driving the increase of an accident goes up.
A much as I hate corporate America, I have seen one car insurance ad that I like. I forgot the company, but the ad has two cars at a stoplight, just like "Rebel Without A Cause", street racing motif implication. But in this ad, the dorky guy without the muscle car ends up at the traffic light with a testosterone asshole daring him to race him. But the dorky guy lets the dare slide, wants no part of it, because he accepts safe driving is better.
That is one good thing that corporation promotes.

Even I can admit when I am wrong.
But damn it, for the love of Thor/Marduke/Posiedon/Yoda, do you always have to respond to my posts as if I kick puppies?
My point is that you were stating the obvious. And after I said both of us where laughing at the timing, not placing blame.
I swear, if I say Chevy, your response is going to be Ford. If I say up, you say down.
When I say I feel bad about him getting the ticket, it isn't a matter of my fault, but just a matter of bad timing. Shit happens. If he were truly mad at me he'd never talk to me again. Again, for both of us this merely was a Homer Simpsons, or Three Stooges moment. In our case Two Stooges.
But I will razz him about this too. Mo likes to remind me about how evil white Americans are, so I cant let this go. Next time I try to call him I will ask him if the cops are watching him.
I haven't disagreed with anything you've said in this thread.
