So the perspective that I have is that, we will never fully and completely know God.

You got that right.

The only way to know God is to know His names and attributes.

Pity all we've got then is human mythology, wouldn't you say?

Even though the human being is an animal just like all other species, we are distinct because we have a divine reality.

We have a divine reality in the same way that Adolf Hitler was a philosemite.

The human being has the potential to display all of the names and attributes of God at the highest level, that's what makes us have dominion over the animal.

A) we don't have dominion over the animal, we're simply a slightly better adapted species of animal than most others (though we've nothing on the cockroaches for adaptability). And on the "names of god", it's an awful pity we don't put our powerful brains to better use than naming imaginary beings, like, oh I don't know, solving the absolute mess we've made of the enviornment.

The names and attributes of God are basically all of the good qualities that is possible for the human being to have, it's just that society doesn't call them that.

Can you be more specific? What, precisely, to you is a ‘good’ human quality? And how do you know that it is divine?

No, I’m not asking you to demonstrate that God exists. I’m asking you to demonstrate that such a thing as a divine quality exists.

Integrity
Courageousness
Honesty
Generosity
Loyalty
Perseverance
Respectfulness
Politeness
Responsibility
Kindness
Humility
Lovingness
Compassion
Optimism
Fairness
Reliability
Forgiveness
Conscientiousness
Authenticity
Self-discipline

And they are all traits we share, at least in aggregate*, with other animals.

*Us humans that is. You can find plenty of religious people, even baha'i that display exactly none of those traits.
