Your problem is that there are people -like me- truly believe that it is God's word and it is a personal constitution for the believers.
Thus; if somebody said that the word of God said "this" or "that"; then it's so different than simply saying "I reject it; full-stop".
My discussion is not for the latter; but for the first type that say "but the Quran said this or that"; knowing that "this" and "that" are not true; the Quran never said so.
I absolutely don't have a problem with you believing that the Quran is God's word. You can believe whatever tickles your taint. What you believe is none of my bloody business.
Once you start acting on some of your screwy beliefs as a way to harm those people who don't share you delusions is a different kettle of a horse of another colour, though (and no, not you personally). And when you go to such great lengths to try and prove that your religion is fit for decent, compassionate human beings, I just have to laugh. Har har.
